Megan has been
in private practice since 2000. She is an honors graduate
of Louisiana
Tech
University (bachelor's degree in Graphic Design)
and of the Boulder College
of Massage Therapy in Colorado
(a 1000 hour massage therapy certification).
Her interest in healing has
travelled her from the metallic hills
of north Idaho to the lush jungles of Belize. Along the
way she
has
been
a student of both ancient traditions and modern skills that
support the
body and spirit into wholeness.
Advanced
training includes:
* Upledger Institute
(CranioSacral Therapy I & II, SomatoEmotional Release I, CST for
Obstetrics)
* Living Awareness Institute (245 hours hands-on
home herbal, nutritional, women's health
studies)
* two advanced certifications in Pre- and Perinatal
Massage Therapy
* Doulas of North America (Birth
Doula certification)
* Arvigo Institute, Certified Arvigo Practitioner
and
Certified Self Care Class Instructor
* Spiritual Healing and Energy Therapy
Studies:
- with Dr. Rosita Arvigo, DN
- traditional apprenticeship with a Cherokee/Irish Holy Woman (7 years)
- student of a Clairvoyant Reader and Healer (since
2004)
She has taught both nationally and
internationally.
She currently lives in Bloomington, Indiana.
